According to a report from Football365, it is estimated that the league leaders could bag £56.4 million if they see out the rest of the campaign at the top of the pile. Premier League payments are allocated based on a tiered system, ranging from 1st to 20th place, with the total amount coming from both domestic and international broadcasting agreements.
The report states that while this figure can fluctuate season by season, it is estimated that each position in the table could be worth £2.8 million, meaning that the champions will pocket £56.4 million. However, if the total were to match what Manchester City are believed to have made last time out, it would be closer to £62.3 million.
On top of that, the Reds would also receive a further £2 million, as The Athletic has stated that, as part of the sponsorship deal with kit provider Nike, a prize will be awarded should they win the Premier League. Incredibly, this fee could also be tripled if the six-time European Cup winners were to claim the Champions League, with the prize for this standing at £4 million from Nike alone.
If Arne Slot’s side were to complete a European double, it would be the perfect way to sign off the relationship between the club and the sportswear provider, as Liverpool are set to enter a deal with Adidas at the start of next term worth approximately £60 million per season.
