There’s still a strong relationship and ongoing talks between Liverpool and van Dijk’s representatives. The decision has not been made yet, but the conversations continue.”
It remains unclear whether any delay in signing a new contract is due to financial negotiations or if van Dijk is contemplating a move elsewhere.
From a playing perspective, there’s little reason for van Dijk to leave Liverpool, especially if the team is poised for success this season, with the possibility of a Premier League title and more.
